The 2010 FGI Guidelines for Health Care Facility Design provide new design recommendations for noise and privacy in healthcare facilities. Although not officially adopted in Canada, we at PAAE were excited to hear about these new guidelines and how they work with the LEED HC program.

The ERCB and AUC have sent out invitations for feedback on their respective noise control documents Directive 038 and Rule 12. We look forward to the stakeholder sessions in the first quarter of 2010 on future clarifications and revisions.
