Neil Morozumi, P. Eng., INCE, joined Patching Associates Acoustical Engineering in 2000 and has since grown with the company to become a Managing Partner and Principal Acoustical Engineer. Neil has over 16 years of experience conducting all types of acoustical assessments for the oil and gas, architectural, transportation and industrial sectors. He has completed a wide range of projects across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and is responsible for reviewing noise assessments for technical accuracy, regulatory compliance and alignment with client expectations and goals.
Neil specializes in designing acoustic and vibration solutions for the transportation sector, and has completed over 350 transportation related projects since 2000.
With a background in mechanical engineering, Neil brings a practical approach to acoustical engineering and assessments. He provides valuable input into noise mitigation and has experience working with regulators on the development of noise control standards and testing new materials such as low noise pavements. Neil regularly participates in community engagement work, including attendance at community open houses. He believes that working collaboratively with clients and municipal bodies at community events helps create a common goal across all stakeholders and expedites project development.
